Day Camps
Summer 2008 Schedule
FOR KIDS 6 TO 11 YEARS
Firth, NE (Just 25 minutes south of Lincoln)
June 23-27
FORTS, FROGS AND FRIENDS
A week filled with constructing and crafting all kinds of fun, while catching
frogs
and making new friends. At the end of the week, your child will have
made an
awesome fort and experienced all kinds of spiritual building for the
kingdom!!!
July 14-18
HORSE RIDERS AND ROCKETS
This week will be full of learning about horses, loving them and going for rides.
All the while seeing the beauty in God’s creation of these wonderful
animals.
OR
Spend the week building a rocket and doing tons of outdoor science experiments.
Science and God do go together and this is a great way to see how God
designed
it all!
July 21-25
TRIPS AND TRAILS
We’ll be checking out local points of interest, such as a dairy farm, fishing
in
area lakes and going to the Homestead National Monument along with having
time on the trails at camp and forging a new path for living faithful and fruitful
lives!
OTHER ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT EACH WEEK OF CAMP INCLUDE:
Bible teaching, *swimming/water activities, paddleboats, petting
farm, obstacle
course, camp fire, field games, hiking, and much,
much more!!! (*swimming will
be at the water park in Beatrice,
water play will be at camp)
WHAT TO KNOW:
- Timberlake at the Oasis provides pick
up and drop off transportation sites
in north and south Lincoln.
(Times and locations will be determined 1 week
prior to each camping
session and parents will be notified). Ride time will be
spent
playing games and singing songs, while securely and safely buckled
up
- Each
day bring: lunch, towel, swimsuit, bug spray, sunscreen and wear
play clothes/comfortable shoes
- Camp
is from 9:00-4:00 (pick
up/drop off times will be before and after)
- Cost:
$135/week
